Visits

Yesterday, I  and some students visited a Wind Power Manufacturer in Sorocaba (SP). Here some pictures.
The visit went well and everybody loved it!

I found, last night, a samba school in my office!! :D Tales of FCA, man!!

It was there to get ready for the students reception.

BTW, I taught last night at the same time they were playing (and 'sambind'). The students must hate me! :S

Coisas de FCA

Inauguro aqui um novo tema do meu blog: Coisas de FCA.
Para quem não sabe sou professora dedicada dessa nova Faculdade da Unicamp. O nosso desafio é montar uma faculdade do zero (praticamente) com pouco pessoal e muito aluno (240 por ano só no bacharelado em Gestão).
Hoje me peguei escrevendo para um colega que precisa de minha colaboração: "tenho 135 estudantes diretos!" :D E mais 120 indiretos! Fora Peds, pads, pids, e puds. :D
Onde já se viu 120 indiretos!! :D :D

Inaugurating a new theme here on my blog: FCA Tales.
For those who do not know I'm a dedicated teacher of a new School of UNICAMP, FCA. Our challenge is to build a school from scratch (almost) with very little staff and lots of students (240 per year just in the BA).
Today I found myself writing to a colleague who needs my help: "I have 135 direct students!" :D And another 120 indirect ones! Not counting TAs etc.
Who ever heard of 120 indirect students!
